Here are some books on children’s vaccinations that I have read and used as support references in my class. This is by no means an all-inclusive list, but a good way to get started.
The Vaccine Guide: Risks and Benefits for Children and Adults, Randall Neustaedter, OMD
This is a well-balanced and very thorough in regards to going over each disease and
vaccination.
What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Children’s Vaccinations, Stephanie Cave, MD, FAAFP, with Deborah Mitchell
This also is a well-balanced book and covers each vaccine. Excellent resource.
Vaccines: Are They Really Safe and Effective? A Parents Guide to Childhood Shots, Neil Z. Miller
This is actually one of the first books I ever read on vaccinations. All three of Neil
Miller’s books are thin paperbacks jammed packed with good info. He pulls no punches on his view of vaccinations, but the information is well referenced, and I would definitely recommend reading at least the first one.

Raising a Vaccine Free Child, Wendy Lydall
Excellent Book. Covers many of the myths associated with vaccinations, and also a
good resource for caring for children when they do experience childhood diseases.
The Vaccination Dilemma, Christine Murphy
If you’re looking for a book that’s more of a guide on each vaccine, this probably isn’t
the book you want, but it is a good read on better understanding the benefit of
children experiencing childhood diseases and how it is part of their development.
The River: A Journey to the Source of HIV and AIDS, Edward Hooper
This book is more for those who want to see just how deep the rabbit hole goes. This
is a very well written book, and leaves no stone unturned concerning the connection between the polio vaccine campaign of the fifties and the beginning of AIDS. I found this book tough to put down, which could be dangerous because it’s about a thousand pages long.
Vaccine free Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Contagious Disease with Homeopathy, Kate Birch
For those of you who had the chance to hear Kate speak, you found she has a wealth of
knowledge concerning vaccines, diseases, and in her field, homoeopathy. This book is an excellent introduction to homeopathy, and is an extremely thorough resource on how homeopathy can treat vaccine injuries and also the prevention and treatment of the diseases that are vaccinated against.
The Virus and the Vaccine: The True Story of a Cancer-Causing Monkey Virus, Contaminated Polio Vaccine, and the Millions of Americans Exposed, Debbie Bookchin & Jim Schumacher
An excellent book on the history of the polio vaccine, the simian (monkey) virus sv40, and the connection between the two. This book is a great read and is extremely well referenced.
A Shot In The Dark, Harris L. Coulter & Barbara Loe Fisher
This book focuses on DPT vaccination, particularly the P (Pertussis) portion of the shot, which was responsible for a high number of serious adverse reactions. Though the whole-cell Pertussis vaccine has been replaced with the acellular vaccine (which has also been shown to cause serious reactions) due to these serious reactions, this book gives a good understanding of what occurs in a reaction and the detrimental effects that these vaccines can cause.
Saying No To Vaccines, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny
Obviously from the title this is book does not give a balanced view of vaccinations, which Dr. Tenpenny readily admits, as there is plenty of pro-vaccination material out there. This is a great book and extremely well referenced. I especially liked the chapter “Refuting the 25 Most Common Arguments SupportingVaccination – TheTruths You Need to Know.”
The Sanctity of Human Blood: Vaccination I$ Not Immunization, Tim O’Shea
Another extremely well referenced book, yet written in a way that makes it a quick read. It covers a wide array of topics within the vaccination issue, and does well at uncovering much of the politicking that has gone on over the years that has shaped the vaccination program.
Callous Disregard – Autism and Vaccines – The Truth Behind a Tragedy, Andrew Wakefield
In 2010 the infamous study published in 1998 in The Lancet on the possible connection between inflammatory bowel disease autistic spectrum disorders was completely retracted. Why? The reasons given were for ethical violations, which in this book, Dr. Wakefield shows that no such ethical standards were breached. What is interesting is that the research (what was observed in the case series) is not questioned, yet the retraction of the paper has public health authorities now claiming no connection between the MMR vaccine and autism.
Vaccine Epidemic – How Corporate, Biased Science, and Coercive Government Threaten Our Human Rights, Our Health, and Our Children – Louise Kuo Habakus, M.A. and Mary Holland J.D.
This book came out in 2011 and is a compilation of chapters written by various experts on the issue of vaccination. The main theme of this book is about the right for vaccination choice. I recommend this as a must read to get an understanding of what really is currently going on in the realm of the vaccination controversy.
Vaccine Safety Manual For Concerned Families and Health Practitioners – Neil Z. Miller
Excellent resource. Unlike Miller’s other books, this one may take a while to get through as it is over 300 pages of small font which includes over a thousand studies and case by case accounts of adverse reactions to eachof the vaccines.
Dissolving Illusions: Disease, Vaccines, and the Forgotten History – Suzanne Humphries, MD and Roman Bystrianyk – 2013
Most people make the assumption that diseases such as polio and smallpox are not around today because of vaccinations. This book takes an in-depth look at not only these diseases, but the conditions in which they were prevalent and the reasons for their decline. I was impressed with the amount of documentation presented in this book – which provides compelling evidence of why we saw these dreaded diseases flourish and then disappear.
Vaccination Voodoo: What You Don’t Know About Vaccines – Catherine Frompovich The author discussed the so-called “science” behind vaccinations, goes quite extensively into vaccine ingredients, and covers various other issues on the topic of vaccinations.
Vaccination Is Not Immunization – Third Edition – Tim O’Shea Dr. O’Shea once again does an excellent job in covering the topic of vaccinations in this most recent edition. Like his other books, it is well referenced, covers a wide range of topics within the issue, and he isn't afraid to call it as he sees it.
Vaccine Illusion: How Vaccination Compromises Our Natural Immunity And What We Can Do To Regain Our Health – Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD As the author is an immunologist in the trenches of mainstream biomedical research, this book gives an interesting insight into the effects vaccines have on the immune system. One nugget I pulled out of this book is that “Immunology is a science that studies an artificial process of immunization – i.e., the immune system’s response to injected foreign matter. Immunology does not attempt to study and therefore cannot provide understanding of natural diseases and immunity that follows them.”
The Peanut Allergy Epidemic: What’s Causing It And How To Stop It – Heather Fraser This well referenced book explores the peanut allergy epidemic, delving into the statistics, theories, and politics involved in this issue, and reveals the connection between peanut allergies and vaccinations.
PLAGUE - One Scientist's Intrepid Search for the Truth about Human Retroviruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Autism, and Other Diseases - Kent Heckenlively, JD and Judy Mikovits, PHD I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Mikovits and hear her story prior to reading this book. I was captivated by her passion for true science and the compassion she had for the patients that could be helped by her research. This book is a perfect blend of the science Dr. Mikovits was working on and the riveting story of how she ended up in jail for having the integrity to stand up for the truth.
The Vaccine Court – The Dark Truth of America’s Vaccine Injury Compensation Program - Wayne Rohde Few people even know about the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program – also known as Vaccine Court. Established in 1986, this program shields vaccine manufacturers from liability for the injuries caused by their vaccines. The intent of program was to provide compassionate and fair compensation in a timely manner to those families who have a child injured by vaccines. Mr. Rohde does a brilliant job of showing how this program does none of those things – instead leaving parents with the insurmountable task of fighting for years against a government bent on not compensating their injured child.
The Big Autism Cover-up – How and Why the Media is Lying to the American Public – Anne Dachel The message is the same on every major news outlet – there is connection between vaccines and autism. However, when one digs deeper into the issue, another story appears – that there is evidence that vaccines are a cause of autism. Anne Dachel shows what mainstream media does to keep this evidence suppressed and the lengths they will go to keep the American public in the dark. Great book!
The Autism War – a novel by Louis Conte As you can see from my booklist, I can’t tell you the last time I had read fiction. And I can almost say that I still don’t know. Although this is a novel, the events and characters in this book bear such an eerie resemblance to what is going on in the real autism war that is raging in our country today that I often forgot that I was reading “fiction.” I love this book. Not only did I find the events of the story so closely related to event that have and are occurring in real life, but it is very well written and I had a tough time putting it down.
Thimerosal – Let the Science Speak – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Editor Although it was believed that thimerosal was removed from U.S. vaccines, the preservative continues to be used, particularly in the flu vaccines. This book is far from anti-vaccination, but simply lays out the science that shows the toxic effect of thimerosal on the human body. It also uncovers the flaws in the epidemiological studies that were used to show that thimerosal is safe. Mr. Kennedy makes a clear, well supported argument for the complete removal of thimerosal from vaccines and offers viable alternative options for thimerosal-free vaccines.

Vaccines: The Risks, the Benefits, The Choices, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, 2nd Ed.
I highly recommend this video. Dr. Tenpenny does an excellent job of going through each of the diseases and vaccines. If you are looking for a guide or reference in evaluating each of the vaccinations, this is a great resource.
Vaccines: What The CDC Documents Reveal, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny
This is also an excellent video which I highly recommend. Dr. Tenpenny spent years researching CDC documents and found some very surprising evidence that the vaccinations the government promotes are not as safe and effective as they claim. There is a tiny bit of overlap of information from her first video, but I found that it helped reinforce the information rather than being redundant.
The Greater Good – A documentary film by Leslie Manookian, Kendall Nelson and Chris Pilaro
This is a tremendous film. It is well balanced in that it gives experts on both sides of the issue to state their viewpoint on children’s vaccinations. It also brings to life what families have to deal with following vaccine injury. This film truly raises the question of how many injured children does the vaccine program deem acceptable for the greater good of society? www.greatergoodmovie.org
Bought - A documentary film by Jeff Hayes. An excellent film on the corruption behind vaccines, the pharmaceutical industry and the food industry. Follow the money.
VAXXED: FROM COVER-UP TO CATASTROPHE - In 2013 Dr. Brian Hooker received a call from CDC Senior Scientist Dr. William Thompson where Dr. Thompson revealed that they had manipulated data in a 2004 MMR/autism study to show that there was no connection between the vaccine and autism. This film documents this incredible story and the CDC's continued effort to bury the vaccine/autism connection.
Trace Amounts - Autism, Mercury, and the Hidden Truth - This is a must see documentary to better understand not only the thimerosal issue with vaccines, but also the mercury toxicity children can receive throught the environment. Although thimerosal has been taken out of most childhood vaccines, they can still receive it in trace amounts in certain vaccines, and larger amounts through the flu shot and in utero via mother receiving the Tdap and flu vaccines during pregnancy.
Vaccines Revealed - This 2017 documentary contains 9 jam packed episodes exploring the vaccine issue, with the goal of not only helping you clearly understand your rights in regards to vaccination - but also supplying you with the answers to your vaccine questions, and giving you confidence in your vaccine decisions. It contains many excellent interviews including Andrew Wakefield, Suzanne Humphries, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Brian Hooker and Sherri Tenpenny, just to name a few.
The Truth About Vaccines - Another documentary released in 2017, this 7-part series on vaccinations is chalk full of great interviews and information on vaccines. Ty Bollinger, who brought us The Truth About Cancer documentary, brought together more than 60 of the world's foremost health experts to investigate both sides of this contentious debate to give you the science, the history, and the untold story...the real information you need to make an informed decision on how to best protect your child.
